Take part in Fair Trade Campus Week 2017

All across Canada, post-secondary students are working hard and finding creative ways to make their campuses more ethical and sustainable. Campuses in Winnipeg are celebrating the fair trade movement with a variety of activities this week.

Join the celebration by checking out activities at the following campuses:

All week

Get caught with a Fairtrade-certified product on the Notre Dame or Exchange District Campus and you’ll be entered to win free coffee for a month*!

ATTEND THE FAIR TRADE FAIR

Thursday - September 28 | 11:00AM - 1:00PM | Library Hallway - Notre Dame Campus

Ten Thousand Villages will be setting up shop and selling their beautiful, fair trade products. Start your holiday shopping early, or pick up something for yourself.

Assiniboine Community College’s international baking students have prepared a tasty treat using Fairtrade products - banana rum biscotti dipped in chocolate! The recipe features Fairtrade sugar, bananas (donated by Discovery Organics) and dark chocolate (donated by Camino).

De Luca’s will be sampling their Fairtrade coffee and you can also try a taste of Fairtrade Numi Tea, which is now available on campus.
