Fairtrade Fortnight is an annual promotional campaign over two weeks to increase awareness of Fair Trade products. It encourages and celebrates everyone who support the goals of Fair Trade but who may also be committed to the more general concepts of fair trade, ethical trading or concerned by development issues. There are national campaigns underway to certify select colleges and universities, and towns and cities, as “Fair Trade”. Canada currently has 20 official Fair Trade Towns and 5 Fair Trade Campuses and Colleges. Read More »
